Protein plays a very important role in our health. Every function of our cells, organs, and whole body is controlled by proteins. Our digestive system and immune system also rely on proteins to work correctly to function at an optimum level.


If you are always feeling hungry, tired, or are trying to lose weight then it may be time to take a look at how much protein is in your daily diet. The amount needed daily varies on your age, weight, and how much you exercise. You can multiply your weight by .37 to determine the minimum amount of protein to consume in a day. This is just a minimum amount and in some cases you might need more than that.
