Have you ever been told by your doctor that you shouldn’t squat or run because you’ve got “bad knees”?  Have you attempted a more active lifestyle to only find that pain in your knees restricts your activity?  Dr. Bill may be able to help you move and stabilize better so that you can do the things that you love doing, whether that is bending over to lift your grandchildren from the floor or training for your next half-marathon.


One suggestion that Dr. Bill can immediately make is to restrict the type of leg/knee exercises you may be performing to only those where your foot is in contact with the floor…like a lunge or squat.  All those exercise machines for your legs that you find at a typical gym (as pictured to the right) may be doing you more harm than good.  Dr. Bill’s advice is to stick with the basics…lunging and squatting with no more than your own bodyweight.
